I used to get upset whenever asked to do romantic scenes. When we were filming for Pudhu Vellai Mazhai and Mani sir explained to me certain scenes, I said no, I can’t do it and started to cry. Mani sir then gave everyone a break. So I went to the balcony and started crying. I don’t know why was I even crying. Mani sir then came up to convince me. He was like, “Come on Arvind, it’s just a movie. It won’t look bad.” And then suddenly another person appeared to convince me, and it was Madhoobala. She said, “Arvind, come on, it’s just a movie yaar.” That was so funny, to think of it now.
