I’m pretty sure they’ve always denied that? But there are definitely some parallels between OSO and what people ~think~ happened to Divya so it’s possible they took inspiration from those stories.

Not that it’s really likely they’d come right out and say it, considering who Divya was married to. Sajid Nadiadwala is still a huge name in Bollywood, no one’s gonna ever say, “Oh yeah, we think he killed his wife and so we made a movie about it!”
