okay what the actual-it'e confirmed? *sighhhhh* naga chaitanya, you may be adorable… but no. i cannot imagine for the life of me-why. why.
the charm of malar, the reason why everyone loved her was because she was ‘natural’ [for lack of better term]. she was beautiful on the inside and out [for lack of better cliche]. she was someone girls could relate to and guys could swoon over because of just who/how she was. not to mention that she (as a character) reinstated confidence into one of the most beautiful girls, imo, pimples and all.
casting a ‘mini supermodel-esque’ person isn’t justifying malar’s character, or sai pallavi. the point of malar isn’t a perfectly made-up girl with blow-dried hair walking into class to teach; wearing a saree two inches lower than her hip. it’s what malar stood for that made her special.
