Kamal Hassan
- Why I like them
Super SUPER DUPER TALENTED. At like, everything. Very dedicated to his craft, wants to be as authentic as possible. the “work is worship” type of person. But also has a friendly off screen presence, from what we see (usually that type of worker kinda look grumpy but not Kamal). Is an atheist but you cannot tell at all. His heroines aren’t usually pushovers, which sometimes happens with super big starts.
- Why I don’t
….
- Favorite film/scene
Vishvaroopam and Dasavatharam are my two favourite films of his. Right now its mainly Vishwaroopam but thats only bc I havent seen Dasavathram in ages bc our DVD broke (from me watching it too many times ahaha). I really like how lowkey his intro was in Vishwaroopam - the light falls on his face, so it’s like Yes, this is the Hero, but none of the flashness that usually happens. and I’ve seen Utthamavillain three times already.
- Favorite line
ooooh. Idk this is hard…. I can’t pick off the top of my head right now! I keep tinking of the comedy in Vishwaroopam since i watched it recently.
“to become immortal one must become an artiste forever remembered in the hearts of people” - Uttamavillain
- Favorite outfit
Tbh the grandma lady in Dasavatharam?? How did he pull that off he looks shorter than Asin in that get up. ???
- OTP
>_> I don’t really ship him with many bc the hero-heroine age gap is always so big. Except Kamal-Gauthami in Papanasam. They were adorable.
- Non-romantic OTP
Hmm a brotp? Andrea’s character and his character in Vishwaroopam bc they collectively had so much sass.
- Unpopular opinion
All I see people judging him for his personal life like no, you judge an actor by their acting and an artist by their art. So I appreciate his art a lot, regardless of his personal life. Also people think he’s anti religion??? Which is so untrue??? Anti religion are those actors who stubbornly but subtly mock religion. Also people say he oversimplifies issues, which yes, happens, but a movie is entertainment that makes you think, not shouts information in your face. (A lot of social justice movies tend to have a long speech at the end explaining their point. His don’t but the point sticks just as well) It’s enough to make you think/become curious and research more if desired.
- A wish for them
Keep making good movies! And watch that age gap you and Andrea are a weird couple please don’t.
- An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them
Stop acting/making high quality movies.
- 5 words to best describe them
very very dedicated to work
- My nickname for them
Ulaganayagan, of course :P
Ajith Kumar
- Why I like them
He’s epic, obviously, but is also actually a great actor! Plus his action movies are really great! (and his earlier romances he was so twiggy oh my goodness)
- Why I don’t
IDK sometimes I feel like he’s a tad overrated? Like the hype is too much? Or is that Mangaatha (which where I loved his acting, especially as an money crazed bad guy, but idk the fanboys ruin everything)
- Favorite film/scene
When he randomly shows up in the elevator in Aarambam. No particular reason.

- Favorite outfit
Does Varalaru count? He had three getups in that movie, and I liked him as a bharathanatyam dancer a lot.
- OTP
Well considering I just watched Kandukondain Kandukondia him and Tabu :P
- Non-romantic OTP
Can’t think of anyone from the top :)
- Unpopular opinion
uhhh….. Veeram was a terrible movie oh my god that age difference (plus the hair colour didn’t help) was teeeeeeerrible
- A wish for them
Keep picking interesting roles, other than typical action hero!
- An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them
