Barbie: My Favorite Fashionista

I have been fascinating by Barbie for forever, many girls are! And why not, Barbie represents to little girls a sense of freedom, of having choices and being beautiful! 

My Dad took up distribution of some toys when I was little. So, I was lucky that way and had several toys to play with at home. My favorites out of them all were, of course, my Barbie dolls. I had a collection of them, in fact, I still do!
Did you know that Barbie doll's official birthday is March 9th. And mine is March 8th. This made me so happy as a child and I always cut a cake on her birthday! I even had my Mom make clothes for it, and honestly, that is how I started sewing and making clothes.

So, this outfit post is totally inspired by the role model for several little girls! 
Alsom I had some of you ask me on Facebook, why this post didn't go up sooner, because I had a teaser of this out like two weeks ago. That is because the photographer (not naming who it is), tried turning the pink brighter and ruined all the pictures. I had to get the non-edited version back from them, which took this long. Anyway, all is well, that ends well. I hope you like that look; please let me know what you think!
