“I thought it was a myth when people said that friendships are superficial here. But everyone is insecure, and rightly so. We are dependent on our audiences for appreciation. There’s a lot of competition and because of that relationships turn fickle. It’s a chain. As a person, I’m not cut out for this industry.”
